I will be posting all further content here on Dreamwidth. While I personally do not post anything that could be considered NSFW others in the Sims community particularly are machina makers, writers, and CAS creators do and I cannot continue to post on a site that interferes with their freedom of expression.
This move is also very disrespectful of artists, crafters, writers, musicians, and video game modders who utilize Tumblr as a place to post their creations.. Finally since Tumblr is a US based company this can be considered a violation of our 1st Amendment rights which still apply on public websites -- cause you know Tumblr ain't doing shit about the white supremacist groups, incels, misogynists, and bigots that post shit on their site.
A tremendous number of people who post on Tumblr are content creators --either for video games, or artists musicians, and writers in their own right. I cannot help but see this as a horrifically bad move for them business wise and I will only be using Tumblr until something better comes along -- and even then most of my posts will be here rather than on Tumblr
